Quick Tip:  It Pays to Follow-Up! 

Here’s a great idea from Kathleen Andersen-Paslaski of Baird and Warner.  To help emphasize to Leasing Professionals the importance of effective follow-up, Kathleen taped a $5 bill to the back of one of the guest cards (if there’s a stack of them, choose a card near the bottom).  Next to the bill was a note that read:  “If you found this $5 bill, you’re doing your job!   Remember:  it pays to do follow-ups!”  Kathleen says, “This got our point across loud and clear!”

“Quick Tip” - HERE'S MY FAVORITE NEW CLOSING TECHNIQUE

As the Leasing Professional and Future Resident leave the vacant apartment, the Leasing Professional stops in front of the nearest parking area, and says to the Future Resident: “Which of these two parking spaces would you like for us to reserve for you on move-in day?”

This close is not only easy to use, but provides and added benefit to the Future Resident when moving into your community!
